So happy to see you back. I wanted to ask about the dtf hack that had an added ingredient that I came across recently and wondered if you tried it. Not sure if I could post the youtube video that I saw it on.

What is your brand of htv as the base under dtf hack? I got HTVRONT for dark cotton is this good-best? Ans do you need the base vinyl under dtf hack if it’s polyester or just the DTF hack alone? And if it’s polyester and dark, can it be just the DTF hack or is that just for lights whether it’s cotton or polyester?

If this is a "hack" why does this video go for 30mins 😂... not happy.

Super disappointed: Watched watched and re-watched. Gather all the correct supplies. EpsonET 2850 (2 months new printer) rear-feed wont feed the DTF paper, tried the tape no luck, tried print setting changes and got a partial feed...... no luck. I have been circuiting since 2019. What did I do wrong? Tried again this am. Sad wasted 7 pages of DTF film. Even went and tried the parchment paper. My printer pulls in in then jams.

Can you re-use the designs if you already used it for printing? Also, can you use any mugs, or do you have to use Cricut mugs

I tried this and it went on great didn't wear it or wash it for a week and the first wash it washed out completely can't see the design. Any suggestions?

CrystalAnn, I getting so confused right might did you just use a regular ink jet printer and not a sublimation printer. My Epson printer clogged and I was shopping all morning for a printer two weeks ago I purchased a HP inkjet to make stickers what am I doing wrong?

For travel/delivery purposes, go to your local liquor store & ask for empty wine case boxes. The inside of the box is like a tic tac toe board, so there is a "block" for each bottle to fit into.

I didn’t think to turn my heat press over to heat the dtf page. YOU ARE A GENIUS❤❤ I went out and purchased a htvront autopress. OK…so now I have 2 heat presses. 1 for home and 1 for when I’m at Mom and Dad….

What needle size did you use ?

I have some designs that look like watercolor paintings. I'm curious if there's any difference between heat pressing onto raw/untreated canvas, and primed canvas. Primed would just give much better, overall look of the finished product b/c the entire canvas area would look painted, as opposed to just looking like raw canvas material. Have you tested raw vs primed canvas yet?

I'm sorry do we have to still mirror if there is text?

I am doing this on the sublimation printer. After curing, my print is pure orange. Why? And it's transferring on white canvas. What am i doing wrong?

What printer are you using?

We have an embroidery business with 3 of the Ricoma CHS2-1508 machines and a few Melco and Ricoma single heads for customizations. We use 75/11 needles for basically everything including 3D puff hats. We also run our puff hats around 650 spm and slow down to 600 for smaller detail. If your hat is hooped correctly and your presser foot adjusted to the correct height, you should never have needle breaks. When you hoop your hats, make sure you’re pulling tension to get the panel as flat against the hooping station as possible before clamping it in. If done correctly, you don’t even need the clips for structured hats. Also, only use foam specifically made for 3D puff embroidery. Craft foam might be less expensive but if you’re hooping correctly and your digitizing is good and you’re still breaking needles, it’s your foam. Craft foam doesn’t break away as easy and is too dense. 90 needles should be reserved for thick leather like on saddles, etc…
